Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using The Sensitive Sanctuary website or booking any of our services. By accessing our website or purchasing any services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by The Sensitive Sanctuary & Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant), including but not limited to therapy sessions, mentoring sessions, guided meditations, digital products, group programmes, workshops, and any future offerings made available through this website or otherwise.

The Sensitive Sanctuary is operated by Alexandra Alcott (Serjeant). We provide therapeutic support, mentoring, and wellness services tailored for highly sensitive people and those seeking deeper self-understanding.

2. Services
2.1 Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions are offered on a one-to-one basis, conducted online via video call unless otherwise agreed. These sessions are designed to provide emotional support, therapeutic tools, and a safe space for personal exploration. Please note the following:
Sessions are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or psychiatric treatment.
If you are currently under the care of a GP, psychiatrist, or other healthcare professional, you are encouraged to inform them that you are undertaking therapeutic support.
The practitioner is not a licensed medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist. Please seek medical support from a medical professional.
2.2 Mentoring Sessions
Mentoring sessions are coaching based conversations aimed at supporting personal growth, clarity, and empowerment. Mentoring is distinct from therapy and does not constitute a clinical or therapeutic intervention. The mentor will not diagnose any condition or prescribe any treatment.
2.3 Meditations & Digital Content
Guided meditations and other digital content (audio, video, PDFs, workbooks) are made available via this website for personal use only. You may not reproduce, share, or distribute any content without prior written consent from The Sensitive Sanctuary/Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant).
Meditations are intended for relaxation and general wellbeing only.
If you have a history of trauma, dissociation, or mental health conditions, please consult a healthcare professional before using meditation content.
Do not listen to audio content while driving or operating machinery.
2.4 Group Programmes & Workshops
From time to time, The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) may offer group programmes, online workshops, masterclasses, or retreats. Specific terms for each offering (including fees, access periods, and refund terms) will be stated at the point of purchase and will supplement these general terms.
2.5 Future Offerings
These Terms and Conditions are intended to cover all future services and products offered by The Sensitive Sanctuary & Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant). Any new services will be governed by these Terms unless a separate, specific agreement is provided at the time of purchase.
3. Booking & Payment
3.1 Booking
All sessions must be booked in advance through the website booking system or by direct agreement via email. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in full (or a deposit, where applicable).
3.2 Fees
Current fees are displayed on the website and are subject to change. Price changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid. All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP).
3.3 Payment Methods
Payment must be made in full prior to the session or at the time of booking unless a payment plan has been expressly agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Cancellation by the Client
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 48 hours' notice: Full refund or free rescheduling.
24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged, or the session may be rescheduled once at no additional cost.
Less than 24 hours' notice or non-attendance: The full session fee is payable and no refund will be issued.

4.2 Cancellation by The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant)
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of a cancellation on our part.
4.3 Packages & Programmes
Where you have purchased a package of sessions or a programme, individual unused sessions within the package are non-transferable and may not be refunded unless cancellation occurs within the cooling-off period (see Section 5).
5. Refunds & Consumer Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you purchase a service online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase, during which you may cancel and receive a full refund, provided the service has not yet commenced.
If services begin within the 14-day cooling-off period (for example, by booking a session within that window), you acknowledge that you waive your right to a full refund for any sessions already delivered.
Digital products (e.g. downloadable meditations, workbooks) that have been accessed or downloaded are non-refundable, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us in the first instance so we can seek to resolve the matter. Refunds outside of the statutory cooling-off period are at our sole discretion.
6. Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. As a practitioner, we are bound by professional and ethical guidelines regarding client confidentiality. Information shared with us will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, except in the following circumstances:
Where we are required to do so by law.
Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to yourself or others.
Where disclosure is required as part of professional supervision (supervision is conducted under strict confidentiality).

7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services or website.
Our total liability to you in connection with any services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those services.
8. Safeguarding & Risk
The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) takes the safety and wellbeing of all clients seriously. If at any point during our work together we have serious concerns about your safety or the safety of others, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including contacting emergency services, in line with our duty of care.
Our services are not suitable for individuals currently experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact your GP, the Samaritans (116 123), or emergency services (999).
9. Intellectual Property
All content on The Sensitive Sanctuary website, including text, images, audio recordings, video content, course materials, workbooks, and any other materials, is the intellectual property of The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, or create derivative works from any such content without our express written permission.
Personal use of purchased digital content is permitted. You may not resell, share, or make any content available to third parties.
10. Online Sessions & Technology
Where sessions are delivered online, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable, private, and stable internet connection. We are not responsible for technical difficulties on your end. If a session is interrupted due to technical issues on our side, we will endeavour to reschedule or extend the session accordingly.
Sessions are not recorded by The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) unless express written consent is provided by both parties in advance.
11. Testimonials & Feedback
Any testimonials displayed on our website are provided voluntarily by clients and reflect their individual experiences. Results are not guaranteed and will vary between individuals. Testimonials are not intended to make any therapeutic claims.
By providing a testimonial or review, you grant The Sensitive Sanctuary / Alexandra Rose (Alcott Serjeant) permission to use it for marketing purposes on our website and social media, unless you request otherwise.
